‘Having a personal trainer can be a great addition to everyday training for those who want to keep track of their weight or just get a little healthier. I searched for a while online for a personal trainer and fell for Rosie Ormsby and her Fitness Thru Life. On the website she describes her self, her educational level and the different types of exercise she offers. At first I was afraid of what she might think about my fitness level, but after finally meeting her, after a month of hesitation, I decided I wanted her to make a home visit. Rosie is incredibly good at what she does, and her way of inspiration is never ending. She will always be on time and always with a smile. She always asks how I managed during the past week, if I have worked out on my own, the outcome of my eating habits this week, etc..

Then we directly get on to my personal training program that are constantly changed and updated. She will always think of new exercises to do, if an exercise is too easy, too difficult or simply do not suit my fitness level. She has also shown that exercise can be fun and doesn?t have to take as long as you might think. Since I met Rosie, her presence and attitude has changed the way I look at exercise. In the beginning I thought it was hard, but now I look forward to every session we have together. I?m trying to get a workout once a week and now Rosie even got me to start training on my own once a week. Although this is relatively new, I?ve already lost a total of 3 inches. The weight has not changed yet, but it seems to have moved around. ’

I would definitely recommend Rosie and her Fitness Thru Life to anyone as I find her professional, dedicated and just excellent.

'I met Rosie 3 years ago, during that time Rosie trained me before, during and after one of my pregnancy’s, in a very professional and responsible way. Rosie arrives to every session ready with a personal plan that she has designed in advance. The plans are never boring due to the wide range or exercises she gives to me because of all the different skills she can draw from, inc Pilates, core stability, cardio exercises etc. Rosie always considers the ability and disability of the person she is training.. She has a big knowledge in physiology and nutrition. She is always in a good mood and has a nice smile that cheers you up and motivates you to do the exercise session. The bottom line is I can see the results - I have had four kids in four years and now a size eight! :-) .’

‘I first walked into nautilus gym in September 2008. That was the first time I set foot in the gym and it was nerve wracking! Since having Rosie as my personal trainer my fitness has increased and I have toned up. I have taken part in 2 parish walks, increased in confidence so much that when Rosie was unavailable I’ve gone alone using the cross trainer, stepper and exercise bike. Not so long ago I was so big I doubt I would have made it to Santon on the parish walk, since having Rosie I got to Patrick(3o.5 miles) last year, and Peel (32.5 miles) this year, and considering I have arthritis in my wrists Rosie has had me using a surprising amount of equipment. They say life begins at 40, well I’d along with that.’

I have worked with Rosie for around 6 months and all I can say is that she is brilliant. I had lost my way with exercise and was training without getting the results I wanted. Thankfully I found Rosie and she has turned my exercise program around. She pushes me and keeps me going even when I get tired. My routine is always changing and increasing in difficulty so I never get bored. I have been missing Rosie since she went off for maternity leave but look forward to work with her again in October.

I initially spoke to Rosie following an advert in the Courier and was very impressed with her professional and friendly manner. She provided very sound and realistic advice so I booked a block of sessions with her and haven’t looked back since. Rosie is a very likeable individual who makes you feel at ease straight away. She designed a unique and varied routine to suit my requirements and provided the necessary support with this. Although I am a member of a local gym, I have always struggled finding the motivation to attend on a regular basis. To top this off, I definitely indulge too much in comfort foods. Rosie was able to help me set targets to work towards in my gym routine and has given me invaluable tips on my diet regime......I thoroughly recommend Rosie as a personal trainer; she is an enthusiastic, approachable and fun individual whose commitment to fitness is highly inspirational. Rosie has been an absolute pleasure to train with. She’s not only supportive but caring with it.Training with Rosie weekly has enabled me to be motivated again, get results with it and have some self confidence back. Her tailored programs are carefully designed for individual needs and goals. As you progress she carefully monitors you and adjusts them accordingly. Rosie is the best possible fitness trainer. Her sunny personality alone would cheer up anyone. She ensures that one is never bored by using a constantly changing programme, which is always carefully worked out to be of the best possible help to her clients. Nothing is too much trouble for her and I am thrilled and delighted with the improvement to my health that she has achieved through our twice weekly sessions over a relatively short time. In fact I suspect I would be in a wheelchair by now were it not for her tireless efforts on my behalf. She really is exceptional...
